Vita
Jacob Hoerger is Ph.D. candidate studying political theory in the Department of Government at Harvard University. His dissertation research focuses on historical injustice and whether it is possible to secure redemption for past victims as well as for perpetrators. He is the assistant editor of the Open Forum Series at the Center of European Studies at Harvard. He also has work forthcoming about the political context of Don Quixote. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science and Russian from Carleton College.

At ZEPP, Jacob Hoerger is pursuing research on the history and normative potential of the concept of "lived experience" (Erlebnis).
