Workshop: New Technologies in Health and Justice

New technologies in health, such as mobile health technologies or strategies to deal with antimicrobial resistance, are increasingly developed and applied. In this afternoon workshop Lynette Reid will examine with us pathways to the increasing use of new technologies in health and pathways to the effects on the distribution of health outcomes in a population.
The goal is to challenge us to consider the effects radical changes in health technology may have on social and global health inequalities, and to focus analysis and effort on the action that would be necessary to mitigate or reverse the centuries-long trend towards greater social inequality in health. After a brief input by Lynette Reid we will spend the time discussing the issues.
